Choose your ideal degree programme at Vilnius University
Explore diverse degree programmes and select the one that aligns with your interests & career goals. Be sure to review the programme-specific requirements listed for each option to ensure you meet all criteria before applying.

Know your deadlines
Application deadlines: 1 May for applicants from non-EU/EFTA countries; 1 July for applicants who are citizens of EU/EFTA countries & for non-EU/EFTA applicants with a 90-day visa-free period that has not yet been exceeded.

Prepare your required documents
Gather and prepare all necessary documents to meet both general admission and programme-specific requirements. Detailed lists of required documents for each programme can be found in the programme description.

Submit your application and pay the fee
Complete your application by submitting it online and paying a non-refundable application fee of EUR 100. You can apply for up to 3 study programmes in one application.

Wait for application review
Your application will undergo a thorough review process, during which your educational documents will be assessed for academic recognition. The International Admissions Office may verify the authenticity of your documents and contact relevant authorities for further information. You will receive the final admission results within 30 working days after submitting a complete application.

Confirm your offer and pay tuition fees
Upon receiving an offer to study, confirm your acceptance within 7 working days, and ensure the first-year tuition fees are paid within 15 calendar days of receiving your pre-acceptance letter.

Arrange your arrival
As an international student, you will need to arrange for a visa, temporary residence permit, or certificate of temporary residence based on your nationality and the duration of your studies at Vilnius University. The International Relations Office will provide you with the necessary information on obtaining a temporary residence permit after your tuition fee payment is received.
